Fun Things To Do This Weekend

You can tell we're getting into the Holiday Movie season, because we have some big new releases this weekend. "Thor: The Dark World" opens, starring that hottie, Chris Hemsworth as Thor.  The movie picks up right after the action from "The Avengers."

Also opening is a spoof of "The Hunger Games," called "The Starving Games." Hmmm, interesting.

For the chick-flick lovers, Rachel McAdams new movie "About Time" also opens today.

This sounds fun: The Children's Museum of Evansville hosts their annual Breakfast With the Sugar Plum Fairy on Saturday, starting at 9. It features a children's fashion show, vignettes from "The Nutcracker."

It's a big weekend for craft shows and holiday bazaars.  Check out the St. Boniface Christmas Bazaar on Sunday from 10 a.m. until 2 p.m.

The Junior League, who was our Extortion Breakfast, has the River City Rummage Sale going on until 2 Saturday afternoon at the National Guard Armory.

The annual Christmas at the Old Courthouse Craft show is going on this weekend.

And, for a fun night out, check out the Holy Redeemer Tap & Cork Festival....Saturday night from 6 until 9.
