Evansville Symphonic Band leaving moving to Bethel Temple

The Evansville Symphonic Band is changing venues. Director Timothy Zifer says there are several reasons for moving from the Downtown Coliseum to the Bethel Temple Auditorium for this year's season. He says one is easy access along Lincoln Avenue. Others are good sound, good lighting, less cost, comfortable seating and plentiful restrooms and parking. Concerts will be at 7:30 p.m. June 9, 16 and 23rd. The annual Big Band Bash will remain at Discovery Lodge at Burdette Park, as in the past. That event will begin at 5 p.m. June 30th.
