    The Evansville Otters brought baseball back to Evansville and Bosse Field and they've been entertaining us ever since.  It's almost Otters season 2014 and they definitely qualify as one of the 104 Things We Love About Evansville and the Tri-State!

  • 104 Things We Love--Angel Mounds

    A thousand years ago, Evansville was home to a thriving community of Mississippian Indians on the banks of the Ohio River. Archaeologists are uncovering the mysteries of these past inhabitants by combing over artifacts they left behind. More than 600 acres comprise the Angel Mounds State Historic Site and has many hiking and beautiful biking trails, as well as the learning center.  It's definitely one of the 104 Things We Love About Evansville and the Tri-State!

  • 104 Things We Love--Vanderburgh Humane Society

    The Vanderburgh Humane Society has been serving the Evansville community since 1957 and since the low-cost spay and neuter clinic opened in July of 2007, over 38,000 animals have been altered.  The VHS is committed to the elimination of pet overpopulation in our community, the prevention of animal cruelty and neglect and the promotion of the human-animal bond. If you think you'd like to add a furry friend to your family, there are plenty of wonderful animals at the shelter waiting for their forever homes.  It's one of the 104 Things We Love About Evansville and the Tri-State!

  • 104 Things We Love--Gilda's Club

    Gilda's Club is a support system for families who are dealing with a member who has cancer.  It took a long time to actually have a facility, but thanks to the efforts of Randy Moore and others on behalf of his late wife Ann, it is now a reality!

  • 104 Things We Love--Koch Immersive Theatre

    The expansion of the Evansville Museum is complete and the jewel is the new Eyekamp Pavilion and the Koch Immersive Theatre. Both DJB and I were extremely impressed with the expansion and the brand new exhibits at the museum.  The Koch Immersive theatre is not to be missed; it's a movie experience like no other!

    It's running through March 15th at Amazonia at the Mesker Park Zoo....Orchid Escape! The show is spectacular and so is Amazonia.....take a break from the cold, wintry weather and escape to a South American rain forest with stunning orchids!
